Web Hosting

Nine hosting plans compared on what the provider publishes: the promotional price, the renewal price, what is included, the uptime commitment and the refund window.

Web hosting is the one purchase where the advertised price is almost never the price you pay. Providers sell a long first term — often 36 or 48 months — and renew at two to six times the rate. That is legal, common, and the single most important number on the page.

So this category records both. Where a provider prints its renewal price next to the offer (Hostinger, Bluehost, SiteGround, DreamHost, GreenGeeks all do), we show both figures and the term they require. Where a provider bills plainly by the month (Kinsta, Pressable, Cloudways), we say that too, because it is a real advantage.

Beyond price we record what is actually included — SSL, CDN, backups and their frequency, staging, control panel, migration help — and the uptime commitment the provider is willing to state. We did not run uptime or speed tests, and we do not repeat other sites' benchmark numbers. Anything the plan page did not state stays unknown here.
