Buying guide
Product and Plan Guidance
Managed cloud hosting. Managed cloud hosting layer that runs your stack on DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS or Google Cloud.
Choosing the Right Plan
Cloudways Flexible uses hourly, pay-as-you-go billing rather than a simple annual introductory offer. The recorded DigitalOcean Micro listing showed a USD 11 monthly headline, but the page also contained an hourly figure whose mapping needs checking. It would be misleading to combine those two fragments into a guaranteed cap without confirming the selected server configuration.
A three-day trial without a credit card is listed for Flexible. Use it to establish the server size and management workflow you need, not as evidence of performance. Other infrastructure-provider prices were not captured, and their rates should not be inferred from the DigitalOcean entry.

Pros and Cons
What we liked
- Hourly billing at the published monthly rate — no long term and no renewal step
- Free migration, free SSL, staging and automated backups are included
- You choose the underlying cloud (DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS or Google Cloud) and the region from nine locations
- A three-day trial with no credit card is stated
What we did not
- You manage applications yourself; this is not beginner shared hosting
- No e-mail hosting and no uptime commitment are stated on the pricing page
- No money-back policy is stated (the trial replaces it)

What We Could Verify and What Remains Unknown

Still unknown after reading that page: uptime commitment; money-back policy; e-mail hosting; support response times. We leave those blank rather than filling them in from a review site.
