The Control Panel Is the Actual Product
Most of what Physgun advertises is panel software rather than hardware. The homepage lists true console and SSH access, a file manager with VSCode integration, databases, scheduled tasks, automated backups, subusers with audit logs, a mod manager and plugin installer, Workshop and FastDL sync, a backdoor scanner, a live map and a player manager. For a community admin who already knows what a wipe schedule or a plugin conflict looks like, that list is the reason to pick this host over a cheaper one.
Read the Uptime Numbers Carefully
The homepage claims "99.9+% Uptime". The published SLA promises "uptime of 99.99% across all services" - a stricter figure, which is unusual. Two things temper it. First, the SLA page is dated 23 March 2022, while the terms of service were updated on 14 January 2026; the document backing the strongest promise on the site is nearly four years old. Second, the credit is discretionary: the failure must be "solely determined by us", and Physgun "reserves the right to deny any SLA credit". Hardware replacement is guaranteed within 12 hours of a confirmed diagnosis, which is a concrete commitment.
The terms are ordinary hosting terms with one sharp edge: accounts may be suspended or deleted at the operator's sole discretion without notice, and a suspension does not waive outstanding fees. The right of withdrawal is stated for European consumers only.
